See the links below for Brighton & Hove Local Authority school year calendars - note that each school sets an additional 5 INSET days, which are not shown on  these calendars.

The Sunroom may have slightly different term start dates to allow for meeting new families each term.

Autumn 2026

3rd September - School open for returning children

26th-30th October - Half term holiday -school is closed

2nd November - Children back to school

18th December - last day of term 

21st December 2026 - 1st January 2027 - Christmas holidays, school is closed

Spring 2027

4th January - INSET day, no children in school

5th January - Children back to school

15th-19th February - Half term holiday, school is closed

22nd February - Children back to school

25th March - Last day of summer term

26th + 29th March - Bank Holidays

30th March - 9th April - Easter holidays, school is closed

Summer 2027

12th April - INSET day, no children in school

13th April - Children back to school

3rd + 31st May - Bank holidays, school closed

1st - 4th June - Half term holiday, school is closed

7th June - Children back to school

10th July - Summer Fair

19th July - Last day of term

20th + 21st July - INSET days, no children in school.
